On Saturday, three nights after his unbeaten 86 against India, the England star made a big comment on Rahul Dravid's 'foreign league' comments.

One of the many reasons behind India's shock loss to England in the T20 World Cup semi-final in Adelaide on Thursday was that India's players rested on Big Bash League experience compared to most of the players in the Jos Buttler-led side. India head coach Rahul Dravid was asked about the same moments after India's 10-wicket defeat and replied that players could be sent for foreign leagues as it would spoil the domestic season which would have been held at the same time. On Saturday, three nights after his heroics of 86 not out against India, England's Alex Hales countered Dravid's statement with a big comment.

Hales has been part of the BBL for over a decade now, having made his debut for the Melbourne Renegades in the 2012/13 season. On Thursday, in perhaps the biggest match of his career, Hales made full use of his BBL experience to destroy the Indian attack and lead England to a 10-wicket victory in the semi-final tie.
